Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal information on h4sib.pro, the personal website of Hasibur Rahman.

The short version: the only personal information collected is what you type into the contact form. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Who is responsible

h4sib.pro is operated by Hasibur Rahman, a full-stack developer based in Dubai, UAE.

Questions about this policy, or about information you have sent, can be sent to contact@h4sib.pro.

What is collected

Information you provide through the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The subject of your message
  • The message itself
  • Optionally, a project type and expected timeline, if you select them

Alongside a submission, two pieces of technical information are recorded to prevent abuse of the form: a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address, and a shortened copy of your browser's user-agent string.

The IP address itself is never stored. It is combined with a secret and hashed, which allows repeated submissions from the same source to be recognised without keeping the address on record.

What is not collected

To be explicit, this website does not do any of the following:

  • It does not use analytics of any kind.
  • It does not use advertising, retargeting or marketing cookies.
  • It does not embed third-party trackers, pixels or social widgets.
  • It does not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
  • It does not sell, rent or trade personal information.
  • It does not ask for, or want, sensitive personal information.

The website loads no third-party scripts at all. Everything it serves comes from its own domain.

How the information is used

Contact form submissions are used for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it.

The abuse-prevention data described above is used only to apply rate limits and to investigate spam or automated abuse of the form.

Your information is not used to send newsletters or marketing, and you will not be added to any mailing list.

Why processing is lawful

Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, the lawful bases are:

  • Consent — you choose to fill in and submit the contact form.
  • Legitimate interests — keeping the website secure and free from automated abuse, and being able to respond to enquiries that are sent.

How long it is kept

Contact submissions are kept for as long as they are useful for correspondence, and are deleted when they are not.

Abuse-prevention records are short-lived and are cleared automatically once their rate-limiting window has passed.

You can ask for your message to be deleted sooner at any time.

Who else is involved

No personal information is shared with anyone for marketing purposes.

The website relies on infrastructure providers to run — a hosting platform and a managed PostgreSQL database — which necessarily process the data on its behalf in order to store and serve it. They act on instruction and do not use it for their own purposes.

Information may also be disclosed where there is a genuine legal obligation to do so.

Where it is stored

The hosting and database infrastructure may be located outside your country, so submitting the form may involve an international transfer of your information. Providers are chosen on the basis that they offer appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

How it is protected

Submissions are validated and sanitised on the server, stored in an access-controlled database, and reachable only through an authenticated private dashboard. Credentials are held in server-side environment variables and never reach the browser.

The full set of practices, and how to report a vulnerability, is published in the security policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information is held about you.
  • Receive a copy of it.
  • Have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Have your information deleted.
  • Object to or restrict how it is used.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave.
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email contact@h4sib.pro. Because the only information held is what you sent through the form, requests are usually straightforward to action.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact form, please get in touch and it will be deleted.

Cookies and browser storage

This website uses one cookie, and only for the site owner's own dashboard sign-in. It also stores a small number of preferences in your browser if you choose to allow it.

The cookie policy sets out every item, what it is for, and how long it lasts.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the website changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and the current version is always the one published here.
