HasibAbout

I build things, mostly.

I'm a developer because I genuinely enjoy creating things. I like the feeling of starting with an empty screen and ending with something real.

I'm Hasibur Rahman — Hasib to most people. A full stack developer, builder and the founder of KortzLab, based in Dubai with 6+ years of building software and digital products.

I don't see development as simply writing code. For me it's understanding a problem, finding the right solution, and creating something that feels good to use.

I work across the whole stack — frontend interfaces and mobile apps through to backend systems, APIs, databases, infrastructure and deployment.

How I work

I learn by building

When I want to understand a technology, I'd rather create something with it than read about it. Some projects start as serious ideas. Others start because I wondered what if I built this?

I want to know why

There's always something new in technology. I don't want to know only how something works — I want to understand why it works.

Details decide it

A fast site matters. A clean interface matters. A thoughtful interaction matters. Good architecture matters. Individually they seem small; together they make a product feel professional.

Hard problems are the interesting ones

Easy problems are useful. Difficult problems are interesting. The moments where the obvious solution isn't enough are usually where I learn the most.

The short version

What if we built this?We actually built it.
I'm a developer by profession, but more than anything, I'm a builder.
